Product Details
This is an extremely attractive Dorling Kindersley publication, filled with their typically brilliant photographs and illustrations. The images depicting the dinosaurs were created through sophisticated computer graphics called "real-life photography." There is a companion VHS or DVD program produced by the Discovery Channel (not included), but it is not necessary to enjoy this book.
From the dust jacket: "More than 225 million years ago, in the middle of the Triassic period, dinosaurs began to roam the Earth. By 170 million years later they had disappeared. How and why this happened continue to be among the world's greatest mysteries."
