GOOD: The book is in good condition, but has a few flaws: there are some creases in the front cover, the name of a previous owner in on the first page, a few pages have yellow highlighting (but this highlighting does not obscure the text).
A note from the publisher about this edition: "Vintage Classics are quality paperback editions of the world's greatest written works. They are durably bound and are printed exclusively on acid-free paper."
Although printed on acid-free paper, there is still some tanning due to age (1990).
