This is the story of Katy, a young girl visiting her Grandmother for Easter. During the Easter Egg Hunt, Katy climbs the stairs to the attic and finds a hat box full of brightly colored eggs. When her grandmother sees it she tells all the children the story of her painting the eggs and how they could make an Easter Egg tree. After Grandmom fetches a tree from the garden they decorate it and Katy wishes everyone in the world could see their beautiful tree, but only the neighbors come to see it this year. When the next Easter comes the make more eggs and decorate a larger tree and people from all around come to see the beautiful Egg Tree.Beautifully illustrated in water-color prints this is a wonderful Easter story for children. On the back are basic instructions to help create your own Egg Tree.
