The Teacher's Edition includes suggested lesson plans for using the student's text, which is written completely in Spanish. BJU Press "discourages" translation because they believe it "slows down the communication process." With this in mind, the lessons are very hands-on in that pictures and common items are used to provide context.
If this method is new to you as a teacher, you may need to spend some extra time preparing for the lessons. This Teacher's Edition provides detailed suggestions and recommended procedures, especially in the beginning lessons, so that you can become acquainted with this teaching style.
BJU Press acknowledges that a predominately Spanish course may be unfamiliar to you, so using English in your class is still possible using this Activities Manual.
