GOOD: Both books have library (stitched) binding and full-color illustrations. They show the usual wear associated with books this age (1960, 1961) that have been shared through the library. As ex-library books, they have some markings in the front and back inside covers. Both books have spine labels which we have not attempted to remove for fear of damaging the books.
The cover art appears to be unique to the library versions of these publications.

Raggedy Ann Stories was the first of the two books. It tells the tale of how Raggedy Ann was found in Marcella's (the author's daughter) grandmother's attic. After fifty years a new shoe-button eye was needed and once repaired she became Marcella's. The book tells of Raggedy Ann's adventures with and without Marcella giving life to the dolls when no one was around. A classic in children's literature.
Raggedy Andy Stories begins with a letter and the receipt of Raggedy Andy by Marcella's father from "Raggedy Andy's 'Mom'". The story tells the tale of Raggedy Andy and Ann's meeting after so many years. Although they couldn't talk, at least not with people around, they were best of friends just like their "Moms". The stories recount the adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy with and without Marcella.
