This is a quality Dover Publications coloring book with detailed coloring pages by John Green. There is a map and 41 black-and-white line illustrations (including 4 double-page spreads) and there are full-color illustrations on the covers.
Each drawing has captions that give details about the Greek culture, written by Stanley Appelbaum, making each coloring page a history lesson. There are several centuries' worth of history, so the author has made divisions:
