VERY GOOD: The guide and text are in excellent condition. The timechart is laminated and cleans off easily, but shows small areas of wear on the edges where the laminate was not applied as well as is separating slightly. These separations do not hinder the function or readability of the chart.Product Details
Robert G. Shearer has written a collection of biographies in the fashion of the other history study guides published by Greenleaf press. There are 29 chapters about the lives of about 35 famous men. "I have tried to show the true character and personality of each individual," Shearer writes in the preface. "It has been my conscious intent to avoid painting individuals as heroes or villains. But I have tried to be careful to indicate and include the character flaws of the admirable and even the occasional virtues of the less-than-admirable."
The study guide includes vocabulary, pronunciation guides, and discussion questions for each chapter and suggests a number of additional texts.
