This is the First Edition of the popular Christian science curriculum from Apologia. This set includes the student textbook, a Solutions and Tests manual, and a multimedia companion CD.
This textbook is recommended as the first systematic introduction to the sciences for 7th or 8th Grade students.
One of the noted features of the Apologia science books is the conversational writing style of the author. Students who enjoy self-directed learning will appreciate this feature.
There are 16 modules, and on average, each will take about two weeks to complete. This leaves four weeks of flexibility.

Multimedia Companion CD, Version 7.0
The companion CD contains multimedia features: videos which illustrate important concepts in the course, animations of certain figures, and pronunciations of the words with which the student is unfamiliar. Having this CD supports the student’s independent learning.
