Condition
ACCEPTABLE: The book's cover carries the majority of flaws: there are permanent stains and a small portion of the top of the spine is missing. HOWEVER, the pages are in excellent condition and the binding remains tight. The book's dedication page has names written on it ("This book is presented to Russell Children from Mom & Dad on 1969"), but there is no other writing on or creasing of the pages.

Each story has deeply rich illustrations by Laszlo Matulay. Some of them take up an entire page, while others sweep across two.
The book is divided into two major sections: one for the Old Testament, the other for the New Testament. At the end of the book are Selected Psalms for all Faiths.
Old Testament
