Collection: World Almanac Library: Trailblazers of the Modern World

This series of biographies closely examines the lives of people who have changed the world since the turn of the twentieth century. They may be notable athletes, scientists, innovators, inventors, politicians, or social leaders, but they have all one thing in common: they've changed the way we view the world. These books, written for young students, includes selections from primary documents, historic photos, timelines, lists of books and websites for further reading, and indices. There were at least 42 of these biographies published in the early 2000s.
