GOOD: Books 1 and 2 of Volume 16 have ink check marks in the table of contents and circles on exercise numbers. The music is not obscured.

Volume 1: Renaissance (1450-1600) and Baroque (1600-1750) — This volume includes selections from composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frederic Handel, and others.
Volumes 2, 3, 4: Classical (1750-1820) — These volumes include selections from composers such as Ludwig Van Beethoven, Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Peter Schubert, and others.
Volumes 5, 6, 7: Romantic (1820-1900) — These volumes includes selections from composers such as Johannes Brahms, Frederic Francois Chopin, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and others.
Volume 8: Impressionist (1875-1925) and 20th Century (1900-) — This volume includes selections from composers such as Vladimir Rebikoff, Dmitri Shostakovitch, Igor Stravinsky, and others.
Volume 9: Impressionist (1875-1925), 20th Century (1900-), and Indexes — This volume is a continuation of Volume 8 and also includes indexes for Volumes 1-9.
Volumes 10, 11, 12, 13: Technique (Studies and Exercises) — These four volumes concentrate on piano techniques beginning with five-finger position and continuing with areas such as extended playing range, arpeggios, scales in all keys, double notes, and much, much more.
