ACCEPTABLE: The spine is in good condition; however, the outer edge of the covers show some rippling. The pages are in good condition, although there is some tanning due to age (1972). The book is still in good readable condition.

This juvenile biography was distributed “Compliments of Disabled American Veterans,” and includes a two-sided insert that measures approximately 24″x19″ when unfolded. Each pane in the insert depicts a different stage of Franklin’s life, while the reverse side contains a map and Franklin’s “Remarks Upon the Navigation from Newfoundland to New-York in order to avoid the Gulph Stream.”
The chapters include “A Boy from Boston,” “A Successful Printer,” “A Man of Science and Invention,” and “A General, a Diplomat, and a Statesman.”
