CliffsNotes

Also known as Cliff’s Notes, this line of products began in 1958 with 16 Shakespeare study guides and has expanded to cover several subjects, including Accounting, College, Economics, Foreign Language, Government, History, Literature, Management, Math, Sciences, Test Prep, and Writing. The product line is named after Clifton Keith Hillegass (1918-2001), who wanted to create an American version of the Canadian study guides Cole’s Notes.
